Log Trim Options

Offering Log Cabin Trim to complete any home.

Install our pine and cedar trim around windows, doors, or anything on your log home’s exterior! Our trim coordinates extremely well with all of our log siding styles and profiles. Our pine and cedar molding is a great way to accent any home.

  • 3×4 D Trim for use with our 1/4 log sidings and the 4×4 D Trim for 1/2 log sidings.
  • Pine and cedar trim in smooth or hand hewn will match each log siding profile.
These trims are cut and installed prior to the log siding application. Then, once our trim is installed, you merely butt the siding flush into the trim.
Finish off your installation with a thin bead of caulk.

2×6 and 3×6 cedar and pine trim can be used for a more detailed option of having the siding butt into the trim with a chamfered edge. Ask our sales staff about this application!
The 2×6 D Trim is also used quite regularly on the interior of the home as casing or baseboard over drywall.

Ask us about creating custom trims that can be made which will span a larger width and are used between cathedral windows or doors that may be separated by a small or large space. Arched window or door tops that need pine or cedar wood trim are a snap for us!…or just about any custom situation that you may have.
